Yes! We share a space with our sister company, Studio 4 Showroom, so that our clients experience the products first hand. We feature a fully functional kitchen and other displays, showcasing different cabinet construction types, door styles, and a variety of finishes. You have the opportunity to see countertop materials from quartz, to marble, to stunning granite. Along with the appliances, cabinet hardware, & accessories on display, we curate and order a selection of samples specific to your project so that you can make educated decisions on the products being used.

With design-build, there is one company providing all aspects of the project under one contract. From the design and management, through the final step of construction, one company provides the cohesive team for every step of the process. By utilizing this team approach throughout the design and construction phases, we are able to minimize our client's risk, control project cost, and reduce the delivery schedule. This design-build process puts the client first for a less stressful and more efficient process. There is one firm, one contract, and one integrated flow of work from design inception to project completion. By reducing the client's points of contact to one team, we're able to deliver a better end result with excellent communication and client experience during each phase of the project.

We have a detailed and streamlined 3-step process for our projects which can be found here. But it all begins with a phone or video call to discuss your project, which can be done here.

The renovation timeline is built by the project itself. Some projects are more straightforward than others. A kitchen renovation with a lot of structural work and complex details may take up to 3 months, while another kitchen renovation with less demo & rebuilding could take 4-6 weeks. As we work to build the scope of the project, we can provide duration estimates.

Our process is completely customized to your project, including pricing. No two projects are exactly the same and neither is the cost. It is, however, our goal to work with your budget without compromising quality and craftsmanship. We listen to what is important to our clients so that we can provide clear, realistic numbers. When we first meet with clients, cost is generally one of the major questions asked. The answer we generally begin with is “It depends.” Providing cost estimates is a process and we can only be as accurate as the information provided to us. In the beginning, with so many decisions yet to be made, our goal is to provide you with ballpark cost estimate ranges and then continue to update ranges and costs as decisions are made. One of the benefits of our thorough design process is to build an accurate representation of the project so that you are not dealing with unexpected costs later.

Cost vs. Value, from JLC (Journal of Light Construction), is an annually released report that compares the average costs of over 20 home remodeling projects at the national, regional, and local levels, as well as the value that those projects retain in certain markets. Once drilled down to your local market, the report provides a brief overview of the project scope and materials, the average project cost to complete the work, done by a registered/licensed company with proper practices, and the ROI of that project property value. The data is sourced from surveys, estimates, and real estate data, aiming to provide accurate and reliable information on remodeling costs and values. https://www.jlconline.com/cost-vs-value/2024/

We pride ourselves on taking your project into our own hands. Our skilled employee carpenters are responsible for the majority of the construction that will take place during a renovation, with the exception of speciality trades. We believe that it is important to partner with skilled and vetted electricians, plumbers, drywallers, and painters to perform their crucial work and see our specialty trade partners as an extension of our team and therefore, all accountability comes back to us. For us, it's about building the best team to perform each element of your project.

A remodel is an investment — and a company’s willingness to stand behind their work speaks volumes. Product warranties from manufacturers will cover the products that we use. However if an issue arises tied to the work or installation, we stand behind that workmanship and will provide resolution. At Connor Design-Build, we provide guaranteed outcomes because our projects are built on meticulous planning and craftsmanship.

We generate a payment schedule specific to each project we take on. The schedule is typically structured with a 35% down payment when a contract is signed, followed by incremental payments throughout the duration of construction, with a final payment of 5% at the completion. Currently, we accept cash and checks.

Product performance and longevity are as important to us as the craftsmanship of their integration into the project. Because of this, we build relationships with and source our products from reputable building industry suppliers across the country. Along with the products from our sister company, Studio 4 Showroom, we also work closely with R. F. Fager, Conestoga Tile, PA Building Supply, Heister House Millworks, and other local suppliers to source materials that are the best fit for your project.
